Our Missionary is H O M E!!!

1 Now behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men.
2 Therefore, O ye that embark in the a service
of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless
before God at the last day.
3 Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called
to the work;
4 For behold the field
is white already to harvest; and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store
that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul;
5 And faith
, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify
him for the work.
6 Remember faith virtue,
knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly love, kindness, godliness charity, humility, diligence.
7
Ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Amen.
Doctrine and Covenants Sec. 4

Chad arrived home last night after a long flight! We are so happy to have him home with us and are so proud of the man he is and the example he is to those around him. We are so thankful to have the gospel in our lives and are thankful for two young men 25 years ago who put their lives on hold to serve our lord, their selflessness has blessed our family in ways we can't fully understand. I know my brother has done that same act a sacrifice for the people of Sacramento California. We Love him and are so very Proud of him!

.....can you find him?

Mike and I were able to spend the day together. I love it when it works out that way. Usually Mike and I only have Sundays off together, and between church and those wonderful Sunday naps the day goes by too fast! So we got our Christmas cards ordered, worked out, grocery shopped, made dinner, watched a movie, drank some homemade hot chocolate and ate way too many cookies...good thing we worked out! I think all the hot chocolate and cookies was too much for Mike to handle....I'm not too sure how he is even breathing here! And Zoe always by her daddy's side!

This is a special Christmas for us...my little brother will be coming home just a couple days after Christmas. He been serving his mission in Sacramento, CA. I know he may not want to leave, but we can't wait for him to come home. We are all so proud of what he has accomplished on his mission, he has been such and example to all of us! Mike and I started dating around this time and and when the weather gets cold it takes me right back to being sixteen and waiting for him to pick me up for our first date! I'm sure this season holds a special place in every ones heart as it should it, it is the season of miracles! Merry Christmas Everyone!!
