two::seven

Man... I know it's not old but I can't believe I'M THAT OLD!!! How does life fly by so fast?? Being away from family makes trips like this that much more special! Being able to spend Mothers Day, my birthday and my parents 29th anniversary with my family was such a blessing and I so needed it! We headed off early to get some of THE BEST crepes EVER for breakfast then headed to the zoo.

Brin had a rough afternoon but got feeling better just in time to make the cardinals game that evening with the whole family. We had the best time!! STL is seriously the best baseball town around! Nothing like it! We ended the day with some cake and wishes!

Here's to 2.......7!!!!!!!!!

On to the next stop...

I had such a wonderful Mothers Day. I was able to travel and spend sweet quality time with my mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. We laughed and snacked the whole 4 hour trip! Mike and my dad headed out early from Arkansas to catch a Cards game so it was just us girls! The boys had some great seats and got a little bobble head (my sister was pretty quick to confiscate!).

Road trip

We have had the best long weekend! Arkansas, Missouri, and the great state of Illinois:)! All in 5 days!! Brin has been the best! She is such a trooper!

We drove to Arkansas first to celebrate my cousins graduations from ASU. A Bachelors, a Masters, and two kids!! My cousin and his wife have been busy to say the least! We are so proud of them! Unfortunately I only snapped one pic of the kids... I was having too much fun catching up and laughing historically. I love my family! How cute are these kids??: )

Valentines day

So Valentines day is my most favorite holiday! I love that the whole day is focused on love! I love the pink, white, and red decorations! I love all the cute hearts everywhere!! My mom always made Valentines day a very special day in our home growing up. We always had a beautiful fancy dinner with flowers and candles and chocolate boxes placed on our plates. It was wonderful!

This year with my family I tried to keep the tradition going! We started the day with pink heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes and frosty pink milk to drink! B got to take a bath with pink water and drew and drew all over with a red tub crayon. We had suger cookies until we couldn't stand it and ended the day with a fabulous steak dinner cooked by Mike {thank you sweets, it was delish!!} B got some new sidewalk chalk, pieces to her dollhouse, candy from her grandmas, and a princess coloring book with glitter pages... There is now glitter everywhere!!!: ) It was a LOVEly day!!!
