WICKED!

Mike and I just saw Wicked yesterday! It was amazing! The best show I think I've ever seen! Mike got me tickets for Christmas. He went all out!!!!He got me box seats! We had dinner and dessert served to us all during the show! We had a special "VIP" entrance and parking!! It was such a nice day and it was great to share that with Mike! I've been wanting to see the show forever, since it sold out in St. Louis I thought I was going to have to make a trip to Chicago! Christmas rolled around and I got the tickets!!! Mike had to tickets wrapped up in a big box with weights in it to really throw me off! It was just wonderful! I don't know how after 7 years he is still surprising me, but he is!!! I LOVE HIM!!!!! I put together a slide show of our pictures from the day!!

Christmas Lights!!

Last night my family went to see the Christmas lights display at Rock Springs Park in Alton. It was a lot of fun! We took some hot chocolate and just drove through the lights! It was my Grandmas first time in Alton so we drove her by the McPike Mansion. It really didn't look that spooky...it must be the Christmas spirit!!!

Lobster Night....yickes!!

Well Mikes boss sent us a BIG lobster dinner all the way from Maine!!! It was crazy, they send the lobsters....alive.... in a metal box that's inside a bigger Styrofoam box! It came with a manual on how to cook and crack the lobsters all kind of treats!! We had Jason and Lauren over to help us enjoy them!! It was a lot of fun!

I love when our house is decorated for Christmas!! I thought I would share some of our decor!! Christmas time is such a special time and I just love this time of year!!

This is our Christmas picture this year (we actually got some snow!!!). I'm so thankful for my husband. Mike is always there for me and I love what our love has grown into. He such a good friend and really is my strength. Sometimes I don't know how I would get through a day without him! Anyway I just wanted to take a sec and say that!

I got to hang out with Katie one night, which unfortunately doesn't happen nearly enough!! She made me try Guitar Hero, and I have to say it was fun!! I think I could give Michael a run for his money!!=)

Girls Trip to the Ozarks!

We all took a "Girls Trip" to the Ozarks to enjoy good company and lots of shopping!! We stayed at a resort that Katie found. It was amazing!! We had two suites RIGHT on the lake!! The trees were all turning colors...it was just a beautiful sight! We played games, went out to dinner, tried to get Erica to scale the fireplace;). It was so nice to just get away for a couple days...

We had to stop at the Ozarkland store on the way home so Erica could get a t-shirt. While we were wondering around we happend upon some interesting apperal...actually it was pretty disgusting...I'm not even sure what animals were on us!!?

Crazy October!!

Well, already I'm doing a horrible job at keeping up with this! This has been such a crazy month for us. In the beginning of this month our car got broken into! We only have had it for 21/2 months!! Some punk tried prying the widow open and shattered the entire passenger window! Glass was everywhere. Oh, and it was done in the middle of the afternoon while I was at work! With my job its had to fit in any surprises during the day because of such a tight schedule. The police came out and suspected that they were trying to steal the navigation system out of the dash board?? I don't know, but it mad me sooo mad!! We got the window fixed the next day, but the thief bent the window rim! JERK!!! Oh well, I guess better that then stealing the whole car! Today is Halloween and I love seeing all the kids dressed up in costumes! Here where we live there is a huge parade on Halloween night so everybody trick-or-treats the night before. The kids love it because they get two nights of candy! I have to ride in the parade with my cheerleading girls so I'll get to see ALL the cute costumes! Oh! Zoe is going to be a angel this year!! She is so cute! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Trip to Arkansas

Everytime we go visit my cousin David and his family in Arkansas we stop by Lambert's "Home of the Thrown Rolls" we had so much fun this time with my family in from Maryland, rolls were flying everywhere!(If your wondering why Mike isn't in any of these pictures, he had to work...)

My cousin is only 45min. away from Memphis, so on our trip to see him we HAD to take my Grandma to Graceland! She was so happy when we got there she cried! I have to say when I left there I had a new found interest in Elvis Presley...I'm a total fan!!!
